How will extended Daylight Saving Time affect my ReplayTV set top DVR?
Solution

Congress passed a law in 2005 which changes the dates of both the start and end of daylight saving time (DST).  Beginning in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November) than previous years.

Customers who reside in states not affected by DST, do NOT need to perform this update.

ReplayTV has provided updates to accommodate this change, but the change will not occur automatically.  Follow the instructions below to update to the new Time Zone Settings. Although in most cases you will not lose upcoming scheduled recordings, review them from the ReplayTV Guide after performing the update.

By performing the following steps, you will enter the ReplayTV Setup screens.  However, you will simply be confirming your current information and not making any changes to your existing setup. During this procedure, your ReplayTV will make a connection to the ReplayTV Service to receive the DST update. Please ensure that your ReplayTV is available to connect via Ethernet or Telephone.

During the following steps do NOT make any changes to LINE INPUT 1, LINE INPUT 2, or ANT / CATV.  If you do anything other then press SELECT on the remote, you will change the setup of the ReplayTV.
