This one is an easy fix.  Somehow, either you or RTVPatch missed the "Patch target drive" step.  Hook the drive back up to your PC, run RTVPatch, set the drive as the target and then choose "Patch target drive".  Put the drive back in your ReplayTV and all should be well.  This should fix an incorrect amount of recording time available, including less than a minute available, and the related inability to view live TV.
