Remove 3 screws from back and 4 screws from bottom of recorder cover. Slide cover off rearward. Touch hand to bare metal on recorder case to discharge static electricity.

Cooling fan may be installed any of the three ways pictured below. For maximum drive cooling leave drive cover off then secure drive with plastic tie.

Fan is shipped set for maximum cooling. You may elect minimal (silent) cooling by rearranging pins as seen below

Reinstall recorder cover. Fan mod is complete
